Barbara Lee Combs, 78, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Barbara was born on October 2, 1940 in Fredville, KY, to Wile and Missouri (Watkins) Wireman. On March 29, 1958 in Royalton, KY, she married Verlin Francis Combs who survives.

Also surviving are her beloved sons, Danny J. (La Donna) Combs of La Porte, Jack D. Combs of Salyersville, KY, Mark (Vickie) Combs of Walkerton, Christopher Lee (Mary) Combs of Plainfield, Michael Wiley (Danielle) Combs of La Porte, and Nathan Verlin (Alicia) Combs of La Porte; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents. Barbara was member of First Free Will Baptist Church of Rolling Prairie.

She enjoyed sewing, horses, and garage sales. Barbara made the best corn bread and green beans in the world. She especially enjoyed time with all her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 pm (CT) on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Brother Tod Masters officiating. Burial will follow at Kingsbury Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 11:30 am (CT) until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to First Free Will Baptist Church of Rolling Prairie, 2456 E. SR 2, Rolling Prairie, IN 46371. Condolences may be shared with the family on www. cutlercares.com.
