Barbara Mae Brennan January 27, 1932 – May 04, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card A special greeting for family and friends of Barbara Mae Brennan will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Barbara Mae Brennan was born January 27, 1932 in Alex, Oklahoma to Alex and Ruby Harper. She died on May 4, 2019 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 87.

She grew up in Alex and was a 1949 graduate of Alex high school. Barbara married Dale Brennan on May 1, 1950 in Lawton. She worked as a cook with the Lawton Public Schools for more than 40 years and according to family was the number one cinnamon roll cook in the State of Oklahoma.

She was a member of Sullivan Village Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, sewing, crocheting and watching sports. Survivors include her husband, of the home; four children and their spouses, Dala and Charlie Melton, James and Cathy Brennan, J.D. and Katrina Brennan and Glenn and Laurey Brennan; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Bryan and Melissa Wells, Eric and Kristin Melton, Steven and Sheila Melton, Shelley and Gerardo Boadas, Kyle Brennan, Brent and Desirae Brennan, Charlotte and Nick Bates, Blake and Rachel Brennan, Kaetlyn and Steven Feldman and James Brennan; 15 great grandchildren, Jaylin, Rylin, Savana, Lexi, Remi, Anthony, Jackson, Emma, Wesley, Ashleigh, Mason, Eli, Cash, Case and Colt; and a soon to be born great grandson, Brennan.

Her parents and her brother, Dick Harper, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
