Obituary for Bart James Meyers Bart James Meyers, 58, a native of New Iberia and resident of Houma, passed away on April 24, 2018. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm, with a service to start at 4pm, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. He is survived by his wife, Tessie D. Meyers; mother, Shirley Evriett; son, Danny Borel; daughters, Danielle (Ryan) Faucheaux, and Jamie (Jimbeaux) Henley; brothers, Audie (Janice) Hebert, and Ed Meyers; sisters, Irma (Kenny) Daigle, Ruth (Jarome) Nabors, and Kristy (Jason) Miles; grandchildren, Macie-Ann Borel, Jaze Borel, Tyler Aucoin, Hannah Henley, Hazel Henley, Jordan Grundstrom, and Harley Henley; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Michael, Xavier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
