Bealon Dwight “Pete” Meadows age 91 of Cottondale passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. He was born on December 31, 1926 in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Pete was a proud World War II veteran and worked with Bell South as a service technician for thirty-two years.

He is survived by his wife Mary; sons, Kirk Maddox (Tina) and Richard Maddox (Karin); four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and one sister Kathleen Turner (Prince). Pete is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Funeral services for Pete will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Jackson County Hurricane Michael Relief Fund. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
