Obituary for Becky Ladd Mottern Becky Ladd Mottern, age 61, of Elizabethton went to sing with Elvis on Friday, December 7, 2018 from the Johnson City Medical Center. Becky was born in Kingsport, Tennessee to Martha Karamblockis Schramlin, of Elizabethton and the late Jack Ladd. In addition to her biological father, she was preceded in death by her father, Earl Schramlin; her great aunt, Cristina Vulgamore; her late husband, Chris Nave; and a step sister, Becky Ornduff.

Becky was a homemaker, although she had worked at TPI for many years, as well as at Saber Printing and SPS. She and was a mother to everyone, who opened her heart to many. Becky was a member of Borderview Christian Church, where she was a large part of the youth group and taught bible school.

She achieved 2nd place for Chaplain in the National Convention with the Moose Lodge, where she was a member and she was also a Senior Regent and recorder. Becky loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. She loved Camaros, NASCAR and steampunk cosplay.

Those left to cherish her memories, in addition to her mother, include her loving and devoted husband, Fred Mottern, of Elizabethton; her daughters, Nicole DuVall (Josh), of Elizabethton, Megan Price (Chris), of Elizabethton, Donna Lynn Brock (Willis), of Hampton, Stephanie Mathes (Sam) of Elizabethton, Robin McGee (Travis), of VA, Alieshia Mottern- Frink, of MN, and Connie Gail Richardson, of Elizabethton; one son, Andrew F. Mottern; two brothers, Michael Ladd (Sandy), of PA and Randy Schramlin (Sharon) of Kingsport; four sisters, Jackie Gioia (Bill), of FL, Monti Ladd, of CA, Becky Ladd, of FL and Nancy Johnson, of Kingsport; and her grandchildren, Reagan, Sydney, Logan, Brooke, Peyton, Breezy, Preston, Baylee, Dalton, Alexis, Eric, Gunnar, Kiernan, Liam and Finnegan. Several nieces, nephews and “other children” also survive. The family would like to especially thank the nursing staff of Johnson City Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, Linda Reiff and Charles Watson, for the care and support shown to Becky and her family.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, may make donations to the Mooseheart Association, 155 S. International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539. Arrangements are currently incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
