Benjamin “Ben” Joseph, 70, joined his Creator on April 6, 2018 at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, California. He was surrounded by his wife, Divina; his children, his siblings and his grandchildren who are living in the US at the time of his passing. He was born on June 30, 1947 to Macario Gatchalian Joseph and Josefina Dancel Domingo.

He studied in Aritao Central School, Saint Teresita’s Academy and graduated with a Marketing degree in Philippine College of Commerce. He married Divina on October 23, 1971. His legacy lives in their kids: Jerome, Mary Joy, Janette, Emmanuel, Joseph, Benjamin Jr., Divina Gracia and Daniel.
As a grandfather, he enjoyed all his 22 grandchildren (and counting). Ben was a farmer and a salesman. He made lifelong relationships with the people in his community.
He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5020 Philippines and Knights of Columbus Bishop Alden John Bell Assembly 3451 USA. Ben truly lived life to the fullest by spending time with the people who matter most- his family and friends. He loved driving and traveling with his wife, planting trees, raising livestock in his farm, meeting with friends, visiting his children and grandchildren and served the church.
Ben will be remembered as a bright, shining light in his family, in his community and in the church. On April 19, 2018, viewing and visitation with the Rosary will be held at East Lawn Mortuary & Sierra Hills Memorial Park at 5757 Greenback Ln, Sacramento CA 9584. On April 20, 2018, the Holy Mass will be celebrated at Saint Paul Catholic Church Florin at 8720 Florin Road, Sacramento CA 95828.
Internment will follow after the Holy Mass at East Lawn Mortuary & Sierra Hills Memorial Park at 5757 Greenback Ln, Sacramento CA 95841.
