Obituary for Elva Loyd Craighton Feb. 1, 1936 – May 9, 2018 Elva “Elvie” Loyd Craighton was born Feb 1st 1936 in Fairplay, Missouri to the late Ray and Norma Craighton. He passed away May 9th 2018 at home with his loving family.
He was a wonderful husband of 57 years to Delores Craighton. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He is a retired Sacramento City employee of 33 years and a lifetime member of the American Legion post #832 and past member of the Roseville Elks Lodge #2248.
He is survived by his wife Delores, Sister Rosalie Barlow, brothers in law, sisters in law, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Jo and Dorothy Campbell, and brother Bruce Craighton. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes on May 18th 2018 at 11 am.
