Rudd, Elizabeth E. (Betty) Betty passed away peacefully on the morning of May 31, 2018 in Citrus Heights, CA. She was born on May 24, 1925 to Norman and Mary Schwilk and was married to Robert Rudd (deceased 2005) on August 18, 1946. Betty subsequently received a Bachelor’s Degree and a Teaching Credential from Sacramento State University.

She taught in Rio Linda Unified School District for 29 years. Her interests included dancing, playing canasta, traveling, and playing bridge. Betty… Read More » was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her younger sister, Sharon Hoffart (2016). She is survived by her brother, Norman, her daughter, Linda, her son, Stephen, and her grandchildren, Sean, Robert, James, Timothy, Katherine, and Daniel. Betty was also the great-grandmother to Ben, Aidan, Leo, Logan, Miles, Evie, Danny, Oliver, and Xavier.

A service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 at the East Lawn location on Folsom Blvd. Friends and family are welcome to attend. A reception will follow at East Lawn.
