Obituary for Benjamin McClure Benjamin McClure, age 38, of Bangor, ME left us on July 19, 2018 for a better place. Ben was born on September 21, 1979 in Bangor. He was a Bangor High graduate.

He spent his life playing basketball at the local courts and also football with The Twin City Riots. His sons, sports, and family were his life. Ben was predeceased by his uncle, Tiger McClure; cousins, Jessica McClure, and Hunter Bragg.

Ben leaves behind his mother, Sherry McClure and her partner, Danny; sons, Karter and Tyler; sister, Crystal and her husband, Freeman Murphy; his only nephew, Jordan Murphy; Cousins, Kenzie, Jenny, Jerrica, Kirsten, Shawn, and so many others, along with a special aunt, Valerie Anderson. He also leaves behind former wife and continuous friend, Hattie Legassie and current girlfriend, Sheila Davis; many childhood friends who became known as brothers, Allen Davis, Adam Backer, Kevin Walsh, Bryan Pola, Carl Boutilier, John Poole and Josh Cole, along with so many others. To honor the life of Benjamin and all we loved about him, a celebration of life will be held 6-8pm at The River Church, 146 Center Street, Bangor, ME 04401.
