Obituary for Bennie (Andy) Faulkner Bennie “Andy” Faulkner, age 49, of Wytheville. and previously of Lee County, was born January 15, 1969 in Pennington Gap, and passed away June 8, 2018 in Marion. He had been employed with Volvo, and recently had been working in construction.
He was a dedicated father, grand-father, brother and son to his family. Andy enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing game. He had a natural talent for mechanics and was technically inclined, always using those skills to help out anyone in need.
Andy was quick witted and could put a smile on everyone’s face he came across. All that knew him, loved him. Andy is preceded in death by his father Benny Faulkner; step-father Stanley Morris; maternal grandparents, the late Colby and Hazel Gibson, paternal grandmother, the late Madelyn Faulkner, and step-grandparents, the late Harrison and Maude Morris; one brother, Brian Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Faulkner of Wytheville, Va; four children, Justin Faulkner of Wytheville, Va, Dustin Faulkner of Gate City, Va, Skyler Faulkner of Jonesville, Va, Mackenzi Faulkner of Wytheville, Va; his mother, Joyce Morris, of Jonesville, Va; one sister, Elaine Watson, of Jonesville, Va; five grandchildren, Lily, Behr, Ryleigh, Daisy and Ema; Special friends, Shawn Morris, Randy Crumley and Wanoka Faulkner. Robinette Funeral Home of Jonesville will be in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8pm, with the funeral to follow.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11am at McConnell Cemetery, with family and friends asked to meet at the cemetery. The family request that memorial donations may be made to Robinette Funeral Home in Jonesville to help with funeral expenses.
