Obituary for H.C. “Junior” Edds H.C. “Junior” Edds, 94, of the Alanthus Hill community of Tazewell, TN, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018. At an early age, he became a member of Wolfenbarger Baptist Church. In his later years, he attended Alanthus Hill Baptist Church, located in the community where he lived.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack R. and Flora Herrell Edds; his wife of 69 years, Beulah Munsey Edds; their son, James Lee Edds; brother, Obie D. Edds; sister, Wilma E. Fletcher; nephew, Boyce R. Fletcher; niece, Cherrie F. Salinas; sisters-in-law, Stella M. Trent and Eula M. Southern. He is survived by his son, William “Bill” R. Edds; daughter, Carol Kay Edds LaFountaine and son-in-law, Chet LaFountaine; granddaughters, Kimberly E. Milner (Todd), Holly L. Shetty (Ameet), and Jennifer L. Campellone (Jason); grandson, James Todd Edds (Gina); great-granddaughters, Lauren Milner, Anna, Kathryn and Lauren Shetty, and Ashlyn Edds; great-grandson, Austin Edds; daughter-in-law, Mary W. Edds; and sisters-in-law, Neva Rea Edds and Dorothy England (David). The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at Robinette Funeral Home in Rose Hill, VA.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie Owens officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Edds Cemetery in Alanthus Hill.
