Obituary for William F. Jenkins Jr. William F. Jenkins, Jr., 67, of Treadway, TN, was born in Cleveland, MS on June 11, 1951 and went home to be with his Lord on August 31, 2018 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN. William was a member of Wallens Bend Baptist Church, Edison, TN. He very proudly served his country in the Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mabel Jenkins; two children, Samuel Jenkins and Violet Hatley; grandson, Austin Fleenor; his mother, Vivian Allen; and two brothers, Aubrun and Charles Ray Jenkins. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie (Clint) Fleenor; two grandchildren, Jordan Fleenor and Jessica Hatley; one “special daughter”, Donna (Tony) Stapleton; brother, John Thomas Jenkins, of Avon, MS; sister, Dessie (Mike) King, of Raleigh, MS; and many nieces and nephews that loved and respected him very much. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, at Robinette Funeral Home in Blackwater, VA.

The funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. J.J. Harris officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, in the Tankersley Cemetery in Blackwater, VA with Military Honors being presented the Shaw AFB Honors Team.
