Obituary for Rev. Charles “Chuck” Robinson Rev. Charles “Chuck” Robinson, 71, of Jonesville, VA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital.

Chuck was born on January 16, 1947 in Harlan, Ky to the late Ernest and Willia (Henderson) Robinson. He was a graduate of Kentucky State College, where he ran Track and was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and he later earned his Master’s Degree from Lincoln Memorial University. He had worked at the Lee County Department of Social Services, the Lee County School System, and was also a past Councilman for the Town of Jonesville.

Chuck served as a Minister for over 40 years. He was currently the Pastor at Well’s Chapel Church in Pennington Gap, VA, and had previously served as a chaplain at Lee County Community Hospital. He enjoyed working on his farm in Rose Hill, as well as riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Robinson. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Trina Bruce Robinson; two daughters, Sheila Stith and husband Jacques, of Bealeton, VA, and Paulette Van Dyke and husband David, of Wake Forest, NC; three sons, Charles “Rob” Robinson, of Atlanta, GA, Jamin Robinson, of Galax, VA, and Rev. Timothy Robinson and wife Nicole, of Rose Hill, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Simone, Raelyn, Cameron, Kaelynn, Chastity, Priscilla, David, Krista, Olivia, Trina, Deuce, Jamin Jr. and Phoenix; one sister, Cheryl Anderson and husband William, of Crete, IL; aunt, Betty Hopkins; uncle, David Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, at Morgan Memorial United Methodist Church in Rose Hill, VA. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Robinson and Rev.

Norman Clark officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Lee Family Cemetery in Rose Hill. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Rev.
