Bequetta’s Obituary Bequetta Jean Crowe, 77, of Tulsa, passed away in the early morning hours on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in Mannford, OK. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 12th from 8:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. and funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 13th in the Mobley-Groesbeck Chapel.

Rev. Norman Wilkie, Bequetta’s cousin will be officiating. Interment will follow on Wednesday afternoon at Westville Cemetery in Westville OK, where she will be laid to rest next to her mother and father.

One of two children of Sherman Alva Crowe and Opal Mae (Reinold) Crowe, Bequetta was born in Westville OK on September 18, 1941. Over the years she has worked for several entities in the Tulsa area, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where she was the Supervisor of the Correspondence Pool, the T.L. Osborn Ministry, and most recently the United States Air Force Recruiting Station in Tulsa, where she worked until health issues caused her to retire early. Bequetta believed in being involved and was an active member of her church, Evangelistic Temple, now SpiritLife Church in Tulsa and served as the President of the Tulsa Chapter of the Christian Business Women’s Association for several years.

In addition to being an avid reader she was also a skilled Calligrapher. Preceding her in death were her mother and father and her brother, Loy Crowe. She is survived by a number of extended family members and friends from church and business and professional associations.
