Bernard J. Schrey, 71, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully Thursday October 11, 2018 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born November 12, 1946 in Pittsburgh a son of the late Bernard T. Schrey and Rita Kleber Schrey of Pittsburgh. Before retiring Bernie was vice president/director of operations for numerous distribution centers in the food industry.

He always made people laugh with his ” unique sense of humor” and was the life of the party. Bernie made a positive impact on many peoples lives. Everyone who met him was better off for having met him.

He worked hard and played hard and will be more than missed by everyone who knew him. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Jennifer “Lulu” Jones Schrey, his son Bernard F. Schrey (Stacey) of Latrobe, his brother Vance Schrey (Anne) of Johnstown, his two sisters; Laurie Sewell (Mark) of Pittsburgh and Patti Brinkman (Ray) of Georgia. Many in laws, nieces, nephews and his Friend Bill W. At his request services will be private.
