Inez Snyder, 85, of Mahaffey, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her home, with her family by her side. Inez was born December 31, 1932 in Johnstown. She was a daughter of the late Lemuel and Nannie (Lee) Stiffler.

November 10, 1956, she married her husband of 62 years, Gordon Snyder, who survives. She was a member of Banner Ridge Church where her husband Gordon was Pastor for many years. She was a faithful woman of the church who was very kind to all.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who adored the time she spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Gordon, she is survived by four sons; Daniel G. Snyder, Randy L. Snyder and wife Kelly all of Mahaffey, Gene C. Snyder and wife Kristi of Summersville, WV. and Dean L. Snyder and wife Linda of Mahaffey.

Two brothers; James Stiffler and wife Madelyn of Indiana, Clair Stiffler and wife Nancy of Mahaffey and one sister; Lois Johnson and husband Louie of Mahaffey. six grandchildren; Cory and wife Melissa, Kayla, Jonathan and wife Tiana, Benjamin and wife Katy, Nathan, Anna and husband Brian. Two great grandchildren; Owen and Cameron.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Delphine White and one grandson; Adam. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 2 , 2019 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey. funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor James Hurd officiating.

Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery is private.
