Pamela Kay Bateman, 60, of Derry, died Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born Saturday, February 15, 1958 in Uniontown, a daughter of Edward J. and Madeline Moyer Miller. Pam was Catholic by faith and had belonged to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Derry.

She was a 1976 graduate of Admiral King High School in Lorain, Ohio. Before her illness she had been employed as a sales manager for Sheetz. Pam was preceded in death by her loving son Matthew G. Sapienza.

She is survived by her loving family, husband Jeffrey F. Bateman, her two daughters; Madelynn Blair and Melissa Sapienza both of Derry. A step son Brandon Bateman (Teresa) of Derry, a special Aunt Dora Miller of Fairchance, nine grandchildren; Collin, Morgan, Zachary, Caden, Gabrielle, Dylan, Lydia, Viktor and Brock. One great grandson Leon and her beloved dog Prince.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a blessing service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment will be made in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.
