Bernard W. Charette Jr. 61 of Schoharie, formerly of Jordan, loving brother and uncle, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 17th. Bernie was predeceased by his mother Janet M. Charette and father Bernard W. Charette Sr. Brernie is survived by his brothers Jerry (Kathy) and Dan (Patty), sisters Darlene (Doug) Ely and Renee (Tim) Woods, 8 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and his long time loving companion Elaine Latham. Bernie was a 1974 graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and he served in the US Army from 1974 to 1976.

He was a self employed carpenter. Bernie will be most remembered for his love of family, playing guitar and NASCAR. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Friday at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt.

5) Elbridge with a service to follow at 7PM. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
