Bert Guillot Sr. August 17, 1928 – January 6, 2019 Bert J. Guillot Sr., 90, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Slidell. Mr. Guillot was born in Bunkie, Louisiana, was a previous resident of New Orleans, and a resident of Slidell for over forty years. He retired, after 23 years of service, from the U.S. Army, and later retired from Folgiers Coffee in New Orleans.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jacqueline Guillot; two children: Jamey Guillot, Angela Guillot Ritter (Don); four grandchildren: Nicole Guillot Ladanne, Tiffany Guillot, Jaime Guillot Dykes, Jesse Ritter; four great-grandchildren: Chance Coulon, Hayden Davis, Christopher Davis, and Mason Guillot. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell, Louisiana. Born: August 17, 1928 Death: January 6, 2019 Visitation will begin at 9:00am, followed by Funeral Service at 11:00am.

Burial with military honors, will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis TN.
