Beth A. Affeld, 49, of La Porte, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at her home. Beth was born in La Porte, IN, on February 21, 1970 to Robert Rader and Sonja (Cooper) Pytynia . She married James Affeld who survives.

Also surviving are her sons, Brandon Gurrola of La Porte, Lucas Albin of La Porte; sisters, Brenda Samm of La Porte, Judy Hough of La Porte; brother, Tom Samm of Michigan City; step-sister, Sallie Warner of La Porte; step-brother, Eddie Pytynia; nieces, Kristin Nunez of La Porte, Kimberly Fairfield of La Porte; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Charles and Juanita Cooper. Beth enjoyed spending time with her children, bowling, fishing, reading and watching movies.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 12 PM at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. A time of visitation will take place from 10 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
