Betsye Jean Burr, age 89, of Springfield, passed away February 9, 2019 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 5pm. The family will receive friends prior to the Service from 4pm.

-5pm. Mrs. Burr was born November 12, 1929 in Springfield to the late Willie James and Ollie Estey Davis Sadler. She worked in retail and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Burr is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton LeRoy Burr; and brother, Billy Sadler. Mrs. Burr is survived by her son, Stanley LeRoy (Janet) Burr of Florida; daughter, Melanie Ann (Barry) Lord of Florida; brother, Robert L. (Bobby) Sadler of Nashville; sister, JoAnn (David) Carroll of Springfield; and 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Nashville Rescue Mission.
