Betty Arp Griffin, 86 of Gainesville passed away Friday July 13, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Blue Ridge, Georgia, Mrs. Griffin had lived in Hall County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Etheridge and Grace Tipton Arp.

Mrs. Griffin was retired from Cornett Carpets. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Patricia Griffin, Baldwin; Roger and Martha Griffin, Blue Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Ted Ross, Gillsville; grandchildren, Philip and Tina Griffin, Baldwin; Matthew Griffin, Maryland; Will Griffin, Virginia; Benjamin and Rebecca Ross, Gainesville; Brian and Ashley Ross, Knoxville, TN; Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her husband, Russell L. Griffin; daughter-in-law, Judy Griffin; grandson, Brent Ross. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday July 15, 2018 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.

Rev. Brian Ross and Rev. Delma Simmons will officiate.

Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday July 14, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, Ga. 30501 in memory of Mrs. Griffin.
