Betty’s Obituary Betty Boyd Ogles, 87, of Mabank, TX passed away on February 19, 2019 at home. Betty was born to Boyd and Margaret Ballard on September 11, 1931 in Dalworth, TX. She grew up in Grand Prairie and graduated high school from there, but has been a long time resident in Mabank.

Betty married Edward Ogles on September 10, 1950 and they spent a wonderful 58 years together until he passed away in June of 2009. Betty loves her God, family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed history, art and needlework.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Maryann White, Barbara Pearson and Nell Abernathy. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Phillip Ogles and wife Virginia, Barbara Baxter and husband Tim, Maggie Simpson and husband Danny, John Ogles, Mary Munn and Matthew Ogles; grandchildren: Missy Garten, Sarah Garten, Taylor Butler, Zachary Ogles, Drew Prescott, Jeremy Prescott, Michael Ogles and Daniel Ogles; great grandchildren: Falynn, Cash, Landon and Emery; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
