Betty J. Rees, age 74, New Castle resident, passed away on Thursday December 20, 2018 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 9, 1944 in New Castle, Indiana a daughter of the late Harold Lee and Elizabeth Merideth Dudley. She was a resident of New Castle most of her life and a graduate f New Castle High School.

Mrs. Rees had worked for 32 years as a special education teacher for Ne Castle School Corporation. Left to cherish her loving memory include her five sons; Michael Rees, Martin (Mitzi) Rees, Jim (Gemma) Rees, David ( Stephanie) Rees all of New Castle, Indiana and Jeff (Marsha) Rees of Columbia, ,Tennessee ; thirteen grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one brother Don Edward Dudley of Cambridge City, Indiana, two sisters, Margaret Arbill and Delores Mays both of Richmond, Indiana, also several nieces, nephews and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ray L Dudley. Family and friends may call from 10 AM until 2PM on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Macer Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday December 26, 2018 at Macer Hall Funeral Home with Rev.
