Obituary for Betty Jean Darst Peerenboom Peerenboom, Betty Jean Darst, 84 passed away Monday May 29, 2018 peacefully with her family by her side. She loved spending time with her family, she loved gardening and her time outside, she also loved the U of K Wildcats, and her special friends Fluffy and Dusty. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence (Pete) Peerenboom and brother Charles Ronald Darst.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth John (Peggy), Joseph Terrance (Donne’), Gerald Thomas (Sonja) and David Edward Peerenboom; Brother, Joseph Edward Darst; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. Friday June 1, 2018 at Ratterman Keenan Southwest Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 – 8 with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be given to the Holy Cross Cemetery Fund, Holy Cross, KY.
