Betty Jo Henderson, 68, of Orleans, passed away at 6:20 AM on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at St. Vincent Salem Hospital. She was born July 3, 1950 in Paoli, IN, the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Morris) Lankford. She married David D. Henderson on February 25, 1967 and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2016.

She attended Orleans Church of the Nazarene and Cornerstone Church. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Stacy (Chuck) Hughes of French Lick; two sons, David (Heather) Henderson of Orleans and Matt (Catherine) Henderson of Paoli; nine grandchildren, Rebecca Hughes, Whitley Henderson, Caitlin (C.J.) Fleenor, Nick (Brianne) Hughes, Connor Henderson, Gracie Hughes, Drew Henderson, Clara Henderson and Colton Henderson; two great grandchildren, Christian Fleenor and Addison Jo Hughes; one brother, Gary (Karen) Lankford of St. Charles, MO; one sister, Carol Ann (Larry) Payton of Paoli, IN; one sister in law, Terry Lankford of Paoli, IN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Morgan and one brother, Larry Lankford. The funeral will be on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home with Johnny Henderson and Richard Grace officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Orleans.
