Betty L. Clementz October 1, 1944 – May 21, 2018 Betty L. Clementz, 73, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home. Betty was born on October 1, 1944 in South Bend to the late Stanley Vexel and Clara “Penny” (Michalski) Vexel. She is a graduate of South Bend Central High School and attended St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.

She loved her husband, James Clementz, who has preceded her in death, and her four daughters and grandchildren. Betty is survived by her daughters, Laura (Robert) Bartlett of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Jennifer Rose of Elkhart, Nicole Lane of Chicago, IL, and Elizabeth (Shaun) Rose of Fishers, IN; six grandchildren, Sarah Rose, Nathan Rose, Madi Lane, Sam Lane, Izzy Rose and Lilah Rose. Also surviving is her sister, Gail (Ron) Pavek of South Bend, IN; and her niece and nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Mary of the Annunciation, 114 W. Vistula St., Bristol, IN 46507. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements. Contributions in memory of Betty may be offered to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, 54687 County Road 19, Bristol, IN 46507.
