Betty Lemmons February 14, 2019 Betty Rimmer Lemmons, 85, passed away on February 14, 2019 at her home in Huntersville, NC. She was born June 11, 1933 to the late Raymond and Texie Rimmer. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles Herman Lemmons.

She is survived by her daughter, Veda (Junior) Benfield of Huntersville; sons Loyd James Axson of Huntersville and Donald Eugene Axson of Kansas; brothers Edward Rimmer and Donald (Louise) Rimmer; sister-in-law Polly Rimmer; twelve grand children; and eleven great grandchildren. Betty loved her babies, chocolate, and laughing. She also enjoyed time with her church women’s auxiliary.

Along with flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. A visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 12:30PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:30PM.

Interment will follow the funeral at Forest Lawn West Cemetery located at 4601 Freedom Dr, Charlotte, NC 28208.
