Shelley’s Obituary Shelley Christie Brandt, 45, of Huntersville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019. Shelley was born and raised in Statesville, North Carolina and graduated from West Iredell High School and continued her education at Mitchell Community College in Statesville. Shelley worked for Ingersoll Rand, headquartered in Davidson North Carolina, for 25 years and it was there she met the love of her life, Eric and they were later married on September 19, 1999.

Shelley was the beloved and devoted daughter of Herman and Diane Christie and the loving and always protective big-sister to Dana Christie Knight. In addition to her parents and sister, Shelley is survived by her brothers-in-law David Knight and Carl Brandt, her mother and father in law Ann and Ralph Brandt, and countless other friends and family who were truly blessed to know her. Shelley was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents Audrey and Bob Christie (Paternal), Lucy and Roy Dison (Maternal), and her faithful companions Buffet and Margarita.

Shelley enjoyed cooking, spending time with her husband and sister, and cheering on her Dallas Cowboys. Most importantly, Shelley was a faithful daughter, wife, sister, and friend. Shelley touched the lives of so many with her contagious humor and her unconditional devotion and love.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to Shelley on Thursday February 07, 2019, between 3:00pm – 5:00pm, Raymer Funeral Home, located at 16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, North Carolina. A private memorial service for family members and close friends will be held immediately after. The family would like to advise people to come dressed casually as they understand that people will be leaving from their places of employment and taking time out of their day.
