Betty’s Obituary Mrs. Betty Marie Ingram, 94, passed away peacefully on Jan. 19, 2019, at home surrounded by her family – one week shy of her 95th birthday. Services will be announced by Whitesell Funeral Home.

Ms. Ingram was a lifelong member of Woodvale Baptist Church and faithfully served the Lord throughout her life. She enjoyed her flower gardens and birds and found great joy in working in the yard. She loved to fish and dance – joining in the weekly American Legion dances for years – and sang until the very end.

Most of all, she loved her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She conveyed her love to her family until her dying breath. She was a friend to everyone she met and kind to all – best known for the phrase “It’s good to see you!

” Surviving Ms. Ingram are her four children and their spouses, Larry and Nadine Deese of Rock Hill, SC, Phyllis Morgan and Buddy Owens of York, SC, Sandra and Jack Bagwell of York, SC, and Cynthia and Troy Canty of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren with three more on the way. She has one surviving sister.

And, she will be deeply missed by all. Ms. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, George “Red” Ingram; parents, William Price and Helen Price Starnes; sister, Shirley Culbreth; and brother, William “Bill” Price Jr. Memorials may be made in her honor to Woodvale Baptist Church (1538 Springsteen Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730) for the senior group.
