Obituary for Betty Sue Allen Betty Sue Westerman was born on August 28, 1946 in Brownwood to Ocie Ward and Addie Lee (Reynolds) Westerman. She graduated from Brownwood High School and married James Allen on August 22, 1963 in Brownwood. Betty worked for Shaw’s Laundry for 30 years and attended Central Baptist Church.

Betty was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and the Tennessee Titans. She also enjoyed bingo, reading, crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. Betty is survived by her daughters, Bethany Willett and husband Chris of Zephyr and Susan Jackson and husband Robert of Early; seven grandchildren, Allan McBride and wife Mandie, Michael Allen and wife Alicia, Ashley Harrington and husband Andrew, Chase Jackson and wife Monica, Brittany Wilson, Whitney Willett and Tommy Willett; fourteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Mac Westerman and wife Kathy of Blanket and James Westerman of Brownwood; an aunt, Wanda Nelson; numerous nieces and nephews and friends that were like family at Market Place Apartments.
