Obituary for Johnny Tedford Johnny Dale Tedford was born on June 12, 1955 in Monahans, Texas to J.D. and Charlene (Blair) Tedford. He attended Brownwood schools and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1973. On November 28, 1975, Johnny married the love of his life, Cherri Copeland in Bangs.

Johnny worked for many years in the appliance sales and repair business, including Sears and Firestone, before opening Tedford Appliance in 1996. He enjoyed being a HAM radio operator, refereeing sports and most of all playing golf. Johnny made many longtime friends playing golf.

He was also a member of the Church of Christ. Johnny is survived by the love of his life, Cherri Tedford, mother, Charlene Tedford, brother, Tracy Tedford and wife, Starla, a sister, Syrce Bolter and husband Jim, brother-in-law, Clent Copeland and wife Lila, sister-in-law, Bettie Bennett and husband Benny, and a brother-in-law, Joe Griffith; a niece, Kali Tedford, two nephews, Casey Carlisle and Ethan Bolter and numerous cousins and a host of friends. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Tedford.
