Betty Anne Craft Taylor, 89, of Owensboro, KY, died on Friday, February, 15, 2019 while in the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Letcher County, KY on December 14, 1929 to the late Stuart and Hazel (Bentley) Craft. Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a retired pharmacist.

She received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina and was a graduate of U.K. Pharmacy School. Betty was an avid UK fan, a voracious reader, a good cook, enjoyed gardening, and was a world traveler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry A. Taylor Jr. in 1990; her son, Henry Alex Taylor III in 2005; and a brother, Robert Craft.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Taylor, and her husband ,Pat Mills, of Owensboro; and her dog, Lexie Rose. A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care given by the staff at the Hospice Heartford House. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice Heartford House or First Presbyterian Church.
