OBITUARY Bettye Ann Steinmetz May 15, 1932 – January 13, 2019 Bettye Ann (Neal) Steinmetz, 86, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Holiday Village. She was born May 15, 1932 in Evansville to the late Perry and Florence (Falls) Neal. She graduated from Central High School in 1949.

She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and cleaning. Bettye was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John Steinmetz. She is survived by her loving caregiver, Vicki Rister; friend and neighbor, Elaine Zimmer; daughter, Leeann Kassenbrock (Donald); grandchildren, Allison and Alex Kassenbrock; sisters, Carol Pleiss and Kathy Johnson (Bobby); sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilhelm and nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Chaplain Larry Davis with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children’s Hospital.
