Asheboro Beverly Varner Beverly Ann McDonald Varner, 71, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, May 11, 2019, at her residence. A private service will be held at a later date. Born in Cecil County, Maryland, on February 7, 1948, Beverly was the daughter of the late Elmer Elsworth McDonald Sr. and Mabel Virginia Bryant McDonald.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Varner was preceded in death by her husband, Homer G. Varner and brothers, Elmer E. McDonald and Robert S. McDonald. She is survived by her daughters, Tracey Lynn Hill and husband Marvin of Asheboro, Linda Quenzer of Lancaster, PA; son, Thomas James Varner and wife Cassie of Asheboro; sister, Audrey L. Ile of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Willard G. McDonald of Asheboro, Charles R. McDonald of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Michael Hogan, Steven Hogan, Zachary Varner, Matthew Varner, Dakken Rodrigues, Victoria Quenzer, Jacqueline Quenzer; great grandchildren, West Alexander Hogan, Lena Elizabeth Hogan, Elias James Hogan, and Walker Reid Hogan.
