Obituary of Beverly Pollender Beverly J. Pollender of Middletown, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on July 21, 2018 in Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 91. The daughter of the late Frank and Susan Kirby Griffith, she was born on June 24, 1927 in Richford, Vermont.
She was the widow of Freeman H. Pollender. Survivors include her children Duwayne Weaver of Middletown; Theresa Jones of Fairfax, Vermont; Brenda Bound of Port Jervis; Freeman “Pete” Pollender of Wurtsboro and Bonnie Gulick of Johnson, N.Y. Her sisters “Wave” Fountaine and Gail Brooks and her brother Virgil Griffith. Her grandchildren Duwayne; Matthew; Keith; Michael; Joey; Allan; Steven; Vicki; McKenna; Jon; and Lindsey.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Sheila Pollender; her brothers Harold and Augustus and her sister Ordina. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2018 from 11 A.M.-1 P.M. with a Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y.
