Billie Still West March 01, 1952 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Billie Still West, 66, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 10th, 2019, at Circle of Life, Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born March 1st, 1952 to William and Chelsea Still in Batesville, Mississippi. She married David West, her husband of 44 years, in 1974.

She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 1984. During her life she worked as a public accountant. She also enjoyed staying home and raising her daughter.

She inherited a gift of sewing from her mother and became a talented seamstress and quilter. In retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her sweetheart David to the far-away places of her dreams: England, Mexico, Turkey, Greece, Tahiti and Hawaii. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.

Billie is survived by her husband David L. West; her daughter Rebecca West and son-in-law Corwin Alexander; her three grandchildren: Jude Alexander, Amelia Alexander and James Alexander; her brother William R. Still, Jr. (Bob) and sister-in-law Terry Still of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and nephews Tripp Still and Steven Still; her sister Jane Andrews of Wynne, Arkansas, niece Chelsea Hudson and nephew Jake Andrews; her nieces Amanda Hamilton and Katie Newman, and nephew Patrick Rogers; and her seven great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Cecilia Rogers. The Celebration of Life service will be officiated by her brother-in-law, Reverend Richard Rogers of the Mansfield and Hackett United Methodist Churches.

The service will take place Friday, January 18th at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. There will be no prior visitation. Online condolences may be made at www. funeralmation.com.
