William E. Donaldson, Jr., age 61 of Belle Plaine, passed away on May 16, 2019 at the Lutheran Home: Hope Residence. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Lutheran Home Chapel in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis Billy was born on September 8, 1957 in Red Wing, MN to William, Sr and Katherine (Lundberg) Donaldson. Billy lived in foster care, Faribault State Hospital, Willmar State Hospital and REM Redwood Falls prior to moving to the Lutheran Home: Hope Residence in 2002. Billy also attended New Options in Shakopee, MN prior to retirement.

Billy enjoyed shooting baskets and playing catch. Billy will be remembered for his mischievous personality, his endearing smile and smirk and his silent laugh. Billy is survived by his sisters, Heidi Pflipsen and Margaret Boland and his many friends at Hope Residence.
