Obituary for Billy Jack “Dollar Bill” Bartee Billy Jack Bartee, aka Dollar Bill, age 79, of Moran, TX went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2018. Funeral services for Billy Jack will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Moran Cemetery in Moran, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Eastland, TX.

Billy Jack was born January 18, 1939 in Aubrey, TX to Louise Copeland and Jack Hoyt Bartee. He worked as a sheet metal worker for Lewis and Lambert sheet metal for many years before opening his own convenience store in Azle, TX. Billy Jack spent his later years in Moran, TX on his ranch.

He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his chickens. Billy Jack was preceded in death by his mother Louise Copeland and 2 brothers. Billy Jack is survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and a host of friends.

Billy Jack “Dollar Bill” will be remembered for his infectious smile and humor. He will be dearly missed. Upcoming Events Graveside 2018 JUN 23.
