Obituary for Billy Ray Hance BILLY RAY HANCE, age 80 of Dandridge, TN passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home. He was a graduate of Maury High School, member of the Shady Grove United Methodist Church and was retired from Tennessee Handbags and Coleman Enterprise Co. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed being around his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Evelyn Franklin Hance and is survived by daughters, Wendy Hance Hodge and husband Greg and Janet Hance Woods and husband Tony; grandchildren, Christopher (Kristen) Hodge, Jonathan (Brooke) Hodge, Sarah (Will) Darby, Jason Woods and Adam Woods; great-grandson, Jon Luke Hodge; sisters, Martha Blackburn and Joan Hance; sisters-in-laws, Janice Hance, Betty Smelcer, Helen Franklin, Shelby Franklin and Betty Ann Franklin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, April 27, 2018, 7:00pm at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Jason McIntosh officiating. Interment graveside services will be held Saturday, 10:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00pm prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 1675 Harold Patterson Rd. , Dandridge, TN 37725.
