Obituary for Blanche E Duennes (Gosney ) Blanche E. Duennes (nee Gosney) April 29, 1922 – January 7, 2018 Devoted wife of the late Howard Duennes. Loving mother of Gail, Deborah (Mohammad), Michelle (Donald), and Janice. Adoring grandmother of Sarah (David), Emily, Azadeh, Bijan, and Yassaman, and great grandmother of Henry.

Sister of Janet (Joe) Strong. Blanche passed away at her daughter’s home in Chicago on January 7, 2018. Blanche was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

Blanche was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and long-time employee of Saint Mary’s elementary school, where she combined her passions for cooking and caring for children. She will be dearly missed by all of those left behind. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Arrangements will be held privately at the convenience of the family with graveside services held on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Online condolences can be submitted at www.
