Obituary for Sollie Hurst Jr. Sollie “Junior” Hurst 78 of Covington, KY passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019. He was born in Corbin, KY on October 12, 1940, son of the late Sollie Sr. and Ora Middleton Hurst. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Shelton Hurst, brother John Raymond Hurst and sister Evelyn Cooper.

Sollie is survived by his daughters Debra Vititoe and Pam Hurst, brothers Paul, Andrew, Virgil and George Hurst, sisters Anna Mae Hurst, Betty Spegal and Colleen Phillips and granddaughter MaryAnn Mullins. Visitation will be held Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12- 2pm at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler, KY. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm also at the funeral home.

Sollie’s final resting place will be in the Peach Grove Cemetery in Pendleton County, KY. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the charity of ones choice.
