Obituary for Maurine Shelton (Bray) Maurine Shelton (80) of Alexandria, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was born in Butler, KY on November 7, 1938, daughter of the late Clifford and Clara Scott Bray. Maurine was a member of Plum Creek Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Maurine is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy who passed the same day and her son Greg Shelton. Survivors include her husband of 62 years Curtis Shelton, son Jeff (Vikki) Shelton, John (Jennette) Shelton, daughters Vicky (Ray) Pauly and Beverly (Jim) Holland, brothers Alton Bray, Kenneth (Ruth Ann) Bray, sisters Retha (JW) Crail and Shirley (Jesse) Vater, grandchildren Danielle (Stephan) Baker, Heather (Damien) Hicks, Joey Shelton, Ben Shelton, Will Shelton, Katey Shelton, Shaylan Nilson, Calina Nilson, Claire Holland, one great grandson Curtis Hicks and nieces, nephews and friends galore. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Monday February 25, 2019 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Butler, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, February 26, 2019 also at the funeral home. Maurine’s final resting place will be at the Butler Cemetery.
