Blanche M. Fredal, of Washington Township, passed away on May 14, 2019 at the age of 86. Blanche was born on February 8, 1933 in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania to John and Marcella Osiecki. Blanche was a graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and at St. Joe’s Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Blanche married the love of her life, Dr. Ralph B. Fredal on February 4. 1961 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Dr. Ralph and Blanche were married for 49 years until Ralph’s passing in February 2010.

Blanche is survived by her loving children James (Caren) Fredal of Rochester Hills and Donald (Jansen) Fredal of Lake Waukomis, Missouri; and her dear 7 grandchildren. Blanche is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings Karl Osiecki, Millard Osiecki, Jane Soabak, Violet Harwig, and Irene Tutelo. Blanche’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Wm.

Sullivan and Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a sharing of memories service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John and Paul Catholic Church, 7777 28 Mile Road, Washington Township, instate at 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
