Our family lost a dear, kind, loving person on May 9, 2018. Renate was born in Germany on August 10, 1944, and moved to Detroit, Michigan when she was 15 years old. She has always been a free spirit.

She had two children, Carlo and Angela, and two grandchildren, Carlo “Bubba” and Chiara. She is missed by her brother Dieter, and his wife, Anna. She is also missed by her daughter in law, Cheryl, her nephew Barry, and her niece Jennifer (Kiesou).

Along with her great nephews and nieces, Benjamin, Ava, Lucas, and Graeme, and many friends. She was a great woman that would give you the shirt off of her back. She always thought of others before she thought of herself.
