Somerville A Funeral service for Bobby L. Chaney, 66, will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Dawson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. He will lie in state for one hour prior to the service and burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery .

Mr. Chaney died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born October 11, 1951, in Morgan County to Orville Lee Chaney and Dorothy Bell Chaney. He was the owner of B & N Services, doing tractor work and was retired from working 34 years at Copeland Industries.

He was a member and a deacon of Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church. Bobby loved his Lord and always tried to do his best for others and was always helping someone else in whatever way he could. He loved his dogs, Isabella and Bella.

He loved Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Janice Carol Chaney. Survivors include : his Wife, Nancy Ikner Chaney, Somerville, AL Two Sons: Brandon Lee Chaney, Somerville, AL and Nicholas E. Chaney, (Angie) Hartselle, AL One Sister: Shelby Holladay (Waymon), Trinity, AL Nephew: Perry Dabbs, Tuscaloosa, AL Niece: Angie Draper, Trinity, AL Pallbearers will be Butch Byers, Waymon Holladay, Nicholas Chaney, Ben Chaney, Johnny Brown and Preston Hall, Jr..
