Bobby J. Dick, age 70, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky. He was born August 8, 1947, in Summerset, KY, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army and was a combat flight medic in the 82nd Airborne Division, fighting in the Tet Offensive, during the Vietnam War.

Bobby worked for General Motors for 37 1/2 years and loved being in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debbera (Fifield) Dick, daughter Rebecca (Ken) Bucher; son James (Lanetta) Dick; three grandchildren Joshua, James, and Celeste; two sisters Pat Wanamaker, and Debbie (Jerry) Moran; and brother John (Beverly) Dick. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Mabel and Terrell Dick.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 1 PM, in Castalia Cemetery. Pastor John Paputza will officiate. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
