Bobby’s Obituary Mr. Bobby Gene Johnson, 75, of Troy passed away 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Ron Newberry will officiate.

Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Bobby was born September 1, 1943, in Lake County, son of the late James “Jim” and Minnie Lou (Price) Johnson.

He married Mae (Blackburn) Johnson June 7, 1967. She survives. Bobby was a retired employee of the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Union City and was a member of Troy Church of Christ.

He is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Veronica Johnson of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Randy Kemp of Troy; six grandchildren, Aubri Henderson of Rives, Josh Crow, Chandler Wilson and Hailey Kemp all of Troy, Miranda Carroll of Martin and Taylor Slaughter of Union City; six great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Maudie Faye and Marvin Burkeen of the Polk Station community; and one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Pat Johnson of Samburg. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Weaks and Helen Kinnick; and one brother, Leaton Johnson.
