OBITUARY BOBBY L COLLINS May 2, 1939 – October 18, 2018 Dunn, NC Reverend Bobby Lee Collins, age 79 of Dunn, NC passed away on Thursday Morning, October 18, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. He was born on May 2, 1939 in Red Springs, NC the son of the late Reverend Roy Lee and Lois Johnson Collins and is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Grant Collins and wife Shirley Smith Collins. Bobby dedicated his life to serving God and serving others.

He served 42 years as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. After retirement, he continued serving the Lord as an active member of Glad Tidings Assembly God Church in Dunn. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, Oct.

21, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Reverend Tim Rice and Reverend Charles Kelly officiating. He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Joyce Collins of the home. Sons: David Collins & (wife) Rebecca of Chesapeake, Va.

; Reverend Danny Collins and wife Karen of Clayton, NC; Anthony Collins and wife Renee of Nebo, NC. Brother: Ernie Collins of Pembroke, NC Grandchildren: Blake, Austin, Blair, Logan and Jordan. The family will receive friends Sunday Afternoon from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Glad Tidings Church, 2 hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 711 Fairground Rd. in Dunn.
