OBITUARY Lola Grace Barefoot August 3, 1926 – November 8, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Lola Grace Barefoot, 92 of Bunnlevel departed this life on Thursday, November 08, 2018 at Bethesda Nursing Home in Eastover. She was born August 3, 1926 in Cumberland County, North Carolina to the late James Carroll Godwin and the late Cora Ellen Martin Godwin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Barefoot; two daughters: Jo Ann Tyndall and Lois Marsh; brother: James Lawrence Godwin and two sisters: Pauline Jones and Bertha Godwin.

Grace loved spending time reading her Bible and was a faithful member of Four Points Church of God. She could often be found shelling peas or shucking corn. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Grace leaves behind to honor her legacy her two daughters: Sherry Simonson and husband Wes of Fayetteville and Doris Wilson and husband Doug of Bunnlevel; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service to commemorate the life of Lola Grace Barefoot will be conducted on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Old Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Butch Suggs officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Old Bluff Cemetery with Justin Simonson, Jarrod Simonson, Dusty Wilson, Jonathan Tyndall, Janco Hestres and Connor Tyndall serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home and at other times at 1210 Four Wood Drive Fayetteville, NC 28312. .
